
You can merge duplicate accounts, just like you can with leads and contacts.
Merge Accounts
- Click the Accounts tab.
- Click Merge Accounts in the Tools section.
- Type the name of the duplicate account and click Find Accounts.
- Select the accounts you want to merge.
- Click Next.
- Select the master record and the fields from each record that you want to keep.
- Click Merge.
- Click OK.
The selected accounts are merged into a single record.
