How to Undo and Redo in Google Slides

Undo and Redo

You don't need to be afraid of making mistakes in Google Slides because you can use the Undo feature to erase your actions. The undo, redo, and repeat commands are very useful when working with text in a presentation.

Undo

  1. Click the Undo button on the toolbar to undo the last action.

    Press Ctrl + Z.

    Undo

Your last action is undone. For example, if you deleted an item and decided you wanted to keep it after all, undo would make it reappear.

Redo

  1. Click the Redo button on the toolbar to redo the last action.
    Redo

The undone action is redone.

Repeat the Last Action

You can also use the Redo button to repeat the last action you performed.

  1. Perform an action on a selected object.
  2. Select another object.
  3. Click the Redo button to repeat the last action.
    Repeat the Last Action

The last action is repeated.
