Time Stamp Notes

It can be helpful to add a time or date stamp to notes to know just when they were taken.

Date Stamp

1. Click where you want the date stamp.
2. Click the Insert tab.
3. Click the Date button.
   

Time Stamp

1. Click where you want the time stamp.
2. Click the Time button on the Insert tab.
   

Name Stamp

If you are working in a shared notebook, adding your name to the stamp helps keep track of who added what.

1. Right-click where you want the name stamp.
2. Select the last option in the shortcut menu.
