Onenote Link to Another Page

Creating links in OneNote is a great way to include additional information without filling up the pages with tons of text and images. Let's check out a few different ways to create links.

Link Content within OneNote

1. Navigate to the location you want to link to.
2. Right-click in the text you want to link to.
3. Select Copy Link to Paragraph.
   
4. Navigate to where you want to create the link.
5. Click where you want to place the link.
6. Click the Paste button on the Home tab.
   

   The link is added to the page.

7. Click the link to verify it work.
   

Link Content to External Locations

1. Navigate to where you want to add a link.
2. Click a location on the page.
3. Click the Insert tab.
4. Click the Link button.
   

   You can use the dialog box to create an internal link, to link to a file, or a link to a website.

5. Locate the webpage you want to link to.
6. Copy the link.
7. Open the OneNote window.
   
8. Right-click in the Address field.
9. Click Paste.
10. Click OK.
    

Edit a Link

Even after you've added a link, you can easily change it to a different location.

1. Right-click a link.
2. Select Edit Link.
   
3. Update the link as needed.
4. Click OK.
