Insert and Format Text

Text captions are used on a slide to present information to the learner. The text could be a heading, information for the learner to read, or instructions for how to complete an activity. The options are endless.

  1. Click the Text button on the toolbar.
  2. Select Text Caption.

  3. Type out the text you want to display.
  4. Click outside the text caption to commit the change.

  5. Click and drag the text caption to the desired location on the slide.

Format a Text Caption

  1. Select the text caption you want to edit.
  2. The default caption type is transparent, but there are also some built-in color options in the Properties panel.

  3. Use the options in the Style section of the Properties panel to change text formatting.
